Safe Isolation & De-Ragging of Dry & Wet Well Pumps
Course Description
This is a one-day practical training course specifically designed for Sewerage Operatives, who in their normal course of work are required to correctly isolate and de-rag shaft driven dry well pumps and submersible wet well pumps.
Who Will Benefit
Sewerage operatives in the water industry who wish to prove the level of competency in understanding the inherent dangers of pump de-ragging. The course follows Approved Codes of Practice and Manufactures.

Each course will pay regard to individual Water Companies specific Safe System of Work to achieve best practice.

Qualification
Certificates of Training Achievement & ID Cards from Energy & Utility Skills will be awarded to those trainees who successfully pass the theoretical & practical sessions, with also mandatory registration onto the EU Skills Registration database
